Editorial process
ViRFQ publishes practical guides for exporters and international buyers — on FOB pricing, Letter of Credit workflows, Incoterms, customs, and supplier verification. This page explains how that content is created, checked, and kept accurate.
Who is accountable
Every published guide has a named, accountable human. Phan Hà Thái, founder of ViRFQ, reviews and takes responsibility for the content, drawing on a background in international trade finance and Vietnamese agricultural exports. Articles show a visible “Written by” or “Reviewed by” line so you always know who stands behind the piece.
How we use AI
We are transparent about this: some drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Nothing is published on the strength of AI alone. A subject-matter expert reads every article, corrects and verifies the facts, and accepts responsibility before it goes live. AI speeds up drafting; the accountability and the final judgement are human.
Sourcing and citations
Claims that matter — prices, regulations, procedures — are grounded in primary sources such as ITC Trade Map, Vietnam Customs, and official regulatory texts, and we cite them where relevant. We prefer specific, verifiable figures over vague generalities, and we say when something is our own operational experience rather than an external statistic.
Corrections and updates
Trade rules and prices change. When a guide becomes outdated or an error is found, we correct it and refresh the “Updated” date to reflect a substantive change — we do not bump dates without changing content. If you spot a mistake, email contact@virfq.com and we will review it.
Independence
ViRFQ earns revenue from supplier subscriptions, not from the content. Guides are written to help readers make good sourcing decisions, not to push a particular supplier.
