Glutinous Rice
Vietnamese glutinous rice comes in many varieties, including renowned specialties such as Nang Hoa Vang glutinous rice (Northern Vietnam), Tu Le glutinous rice (Yen Bai), and Dien Bien upland glutinous rice (Northwest Vietnam), known for their round, sticky, and fragrant grains. Other varieties, such as goose wax glutinous rice (Mekong Delta), feature long, soft, and sticky grains, while wax glutinous rice (Long An, Dong Thap) is also highly popular.
