How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time:
- In the ViRFQ app: Account › Security › Delete account.
- On the web: sign in at virfq.com, open Account › Security, then Delete account.
You confirm it is you (password, or a code sent to your email) and type the confirmation phrase. Your account is locked immediately and you are signed out on every device.
If you cannot sign in
Email contact@virfq.com from the address registered on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account as described below.
Account owners and staff
- Company account owner: the whole company account is deleted, including every staff account.
- Staff member: only your own account and your private items are deleted. Company data stays with the account owner.
Data that is deleted
Deleted or permanently anonymized:
- Account details: name, email, phone, sign-in methods, devices and notification settings.
- Company profile, product pages and their images and documents; verification documents.
- Customers, sales pipeline, contacts and notes; WhatsApp inbox conversations and media; the WhatsApp number and Meta connections are disconnected.
- Company account owner only: the list of blocked buyers.
- Nancy assistant conversations, uploaded files, generated documents and pictures (shared links stop working).
- Requests for quotation you sent as a buyer are closed and their contact details and free text are removed.
After deletion, the same email address can be used to register a new account.
Data that is kept
- Payment records and invoices, for 10 years as Vietnamese accounting law requires.
- Security and audit logs, with personal details removed.
- Records of reports filed about WhatsApp conversations (the buyer's WhatsApp number, the reason and the time), kept for up to 24 months from when the report was filed, then deleted automatically. When a company account owner is deleted, the notes on these reports are removed. When a staff member is deleted, the company's reports, notes and blocks stay with the company, attributed to the account owner.

Timeline
Your account is locked as soon as the request is confirmed. Deletion completes within 30 days at most, and we send a confirmation email to your former address when it is done. Encrypted backups expire on their own schedule. See also our Privacy Policy.
