Tan Thanh An Co., Ltd. was established in 2004 as an agriculture trading company, specializing in rice exporting. We export a wide variety of Vietnamese rice such as Vietnam fragrant rice (KDM, Nang Hoa, OM4900), glutinous rice (thin, fat kernels, Thai variety), standard white rice 5 / 15% as well as broken rice (fragrant, white, glutinous kernels). Our main markets are Asian nations such as China, Malaysia, Singapore and among others. We have also exported some rice to African and European nations. Our milling & processing plant / warehouse is located in Phu Tan County, An Giang province which is one of the main material areas for rice in the Mekong Delta. We also have our representative office in Hochiminh City for sales & marketing activities. Annually we export more than 100,000mt Vietnamese rice of all varieties. Also, we proudly are a member of the Vietnam Food Association & obtained our rice export license from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2011. Quality control steps from raw material to delivery.
Paddy and rice materials are sourced from major rice-growing regions in the Mekong Delta. Raw materials are selected according to variety, crop quality, moisture, maturity, and customer specifications.
Incoming materials are inspected for moisture, varietal purity, odor, foreign matter, damaged grains, and visible contamination. Materials that do not meet the required standards are separated before processing.
The paddy is cleaned to remove straw, dust, stones, husks, and other impurities. It is then dehusked, milled, and whitened to achieve the required milling degree.
Depending on the product specifications, rice may be double polished to improve appearance and surface quality. Color-sorting equipment is used to remove discolored, damaged, chalky, and inconsistent grains.
Finished rice is graded according to grain length, broken percentage, purity, moisture, color, and quality level. Each batch is checked against the technical specifications confirmed with the buyer.
Approved rice is weighed and packed according to the required bag size, material, labeling, and branding. Each shipment is checked and prepared with the necessary commercial and export documents before delivery.
